55/hr Job Summary We are seeking a dependable General Production Worker to support daily operations in a metal fabrication shop. This hands-on role involves assisting with manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, packaging, and material handling while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products Perform cutting, grinding, deburring, and cleaning operations Support welders, fabricators, and machine operators as needed Operate basic shop equipment, hand tools, drills, grinders, and saws Inspect parts for quality and defects Package, label, and stage finished products for shipment Requirements Experience in production, assembly, machine operation, packaging, or general labor Ability to use hand tools and work in a manufacturing environment Comfortable loading, packing, and handling materials Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read basic work instructions and blueprints Preferred Qualifications Experience in a metal fabrication or welding shop Familiarity with tape measures, calipers, and measuring tools Forklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to be trained) Schedule 🕕 2nd
