Job Description
General Production Worker 1st and 2nd shift! $16.00-18.00/hr Responsibilities Assemble sections of garage doors, including installing bottom seals, end caps, and panels, and ensure panels are correctly labeled while working collaboratively in a team setting. Read and interpret orders accurately to complete production and assembly tasks according to specifications. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for assembly and finishing tasks, including routers for cutting panels and installing seals. Perform window-related assembly work, such as installing windows into panels and finishing panels using appropriate tools and seals. Handle packing responsibilities that include hand-loading trucks without the use of forklifts, ensuring products are secured and organized for shipment. Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities and items received, and process receipts for all materials delivered. Replenish and transfer materials to various departments to support continuous production flow. Manage materials and inventory by putting away product, replenishing stock, tracking materials when they are pulled, and communicating with suppliers as needed. Use Excel to track materials and maintain accurate records related to inventory and material movement. Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cleaning the workspace and storing tools properly at the end of tasks or shifts. Empty dumpsters daily and assist with general housekeeping duties to support a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Perform physical tasks that involve bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and team lifting up to 100 pounds. Participate in shift-specific training and follow established procedures and safety guidelines throughout the production process. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure accurately and apply measurements in production and assembly work. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment. Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract, to support measurement and material calculations. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and participating in team lifts of up to 100 pounds. High school diploma or GED. At least 1-3 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with others on assembly lines and in production areas.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsport, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.15/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
