Production Worker - Start ASAP Job Description Join a dynamic team at a new production facility dedicated to producing high-quality food for farm animals. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing plant where your efforts will contribute to the success of our operations. Pay $19-$22 per/hour Responsibilities Perform manual labor as the plant undergoes equipment upgrades. Stack products onto pallets efficiently and safely. Assist with plant cleanup and various warehouse duties. Maintain accurate inventory of products and equipment moving in and out of the facility. Essential Skills Experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in forklift operation and materials handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks. Familiarity with machine operation, packaging, and assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machine operating and production environments. Skilled in using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It is not a pristine environment and may be dusty at times. Work schedules are Monday through Friday with potential for Saturday shifts, offering 10-20 hours of overtime weekly. Shifts include 1st Shift from 6am-6pm and 2nd Shift from 6pm-6am. Dress code allows for shorts during summer months, but steel-toed boots are mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheldon, IA.
