Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient professional to assist with our experimental manufacturing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, developing routings, coordinating the movement of materials, and resolving technical challenges to ensure our production processes run efficiently. Core Responsibilities Develop and refine manufacturing routings for experimental production builds. Create fabrication programs to support operational efficiency. Analyze and interpret technical part prints. Track production inventory levels to forecast future material requirements. Facilitate stock transfers between departments to help maintain accurate inventory records. Coordinate with internal departments to streamline material transfer processes. Collaborate with Supply Management to ensure the availability of necessary purchased components. Generate and maintain comprehensive daily and weekly status reports using MS Office software. Design and model basic parts for shop floor applications. Provide technical support to resolve engineering-related part requests. Identify and correct errors in laser programs and manufacturing routings to improve production output. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Pre-Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Prior experience working within a manufacturing setting. Strong technical proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. High level of attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities. Competency in reading and interpreting 2D technical drawings and prints. Practical experience utilizing CREO and AutoCAD software. Familiarity with Power BI and SAP systems. Understanding of standard inventory management principles. Strong computer literacy and comfort with modern technical tools. Additional Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Understanding of fabrication processes, including sheet metal work. Compensation and Benefits The base pay for this position is $23.65 per hour. Non-exempt staff members are entitled to overtime pay at 1.5 times their hourly rate for any hours exceeding 40 per week, in accordance with applicable laws. Final salary offers are based on individual experience, education, and skill sets. Eligible full-time employees may choose from various benefit plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts, 10 days of paid time off, 3 days of bereavement leave, and 401(k) participation with a company match. Additional offerings include life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care accounts, accident and critical illness coverage, hospital indemnity, and travel reimbursement.
