Full Job Description Hiring Event! Join Amcor as a
Treater Operator Pay:
$20.50/hour + $1.00/night shift premium + increases at 3months and 1 year
Schedule:
12-hour, 2-2-3 Straight Nights, 7:30pm-7:30am and 8:00pm-8:00am
Responsibilities:
Operate all treater equipment in a safe and efficient manner Maintain product quality by monitoring treatment levels and visual attributes such as creases, scratches, and feathered edges. Prepare packing configurations, including boxes and pallets. Operate the Rewinder Take all required machine readings. Ensure continuous machine operations by arriving at the workstation on time and communicating machine conditions during shift changes. Perform in-process and final on‑line inspections of manufactured products. Review special instructions and requirements to ensure all quality control expectations are met. Resolve production problems by adjusting minor machine set points; escalate to Shift Supervisor when needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and exert up to 50 lbs. of pressure. Must be able to stand for at least 12 hours Stoop, kneel or squat on a rare basis when handling products Reach forward and to the side on a frequent basis when handling products Climb steps
