Pay Rate:

$25.00 per hour (1-year contract)

Shift:

6am-2:30pm, must be available to work OT as needed What's a typical day as Factory Visual Design Specialist? You'll be: Designing custom print layouts for signage requests, factory shadow boards, and miscellaneous visual displays using Adobe Illustrator and other computer design software Managing the 5S request queue and supporting systems to enhance factory organization and visual control Printing labels, decals, banners, and signage utilized throughout the facility Overseeing print room supplies, raw materials, and inventory management for 5S keep-fill Coordinating with skilled trades for sign board material preparation and external ordering of printing supplies, media, and consumables Collaborating with 5S Process Design Specialists and Process Improvement Specialists to develop visual manufacturing solutions Maintaining the 5S SharePoint Site and ensuring ongoing upkeep of existing factory signage Performing additional duties as required to support factory objectives This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have proven proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and other computer design software Demonstrate experience in creating print layouts and managing visual displays Possess solid organizational skills and attention to detail when handling supplies, inventory, and requests Are prepared to wear metatarsal safety boots as required for factory safety Have experience coordinating with skilled trades and external suppliers for material preparation and ordering Can maintain and update websites and SharePoint (preferred) Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
