Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Utility Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Dyersville, IA. These positions play a key role in the production of animal feed and nutritional supplements, helping ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. All employees will begin training on 1st Shift before transitioning to their assigned shift. Available Openings 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM
  • 1:00 AM 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday | 11:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM Training Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:25 AM
  • 4:00 PM Pay during training: $18.
00/hour Pay after training: $18.50/hour Job Responsibilities Operate production equipment used in the manufacturing of animal feed and supplements Monitor production lines to ensure efficient loading, production, and shipment schedules Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures Assist with mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying, and powered lift equipment operations Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to support continuous improvement Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform routine equipment checks and report issues as needed Support production goals while maintaining quality standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Manufacturing experience preferred Experience in feed, grain, supplement processing, or related industries is a plus Ability to work any shift preferred Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to troubleshoot and solve production-related issues Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-55 pounds repeatedly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift Ability to operate a forklift and motor vehicle Ability to wear a respirator in designated areas Must be able to work in varying temperatures and production environments Must successfully pass a post-offer physical and drug screen Why Apply?
