Day, Night Hours:

6:00am-6:00pm; 6:00pm-6:00am (2-2-3) QPS Employment Group has a great Production Associate position available at a company in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a day and night shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate industrial manufacturing machinery in a computerized production environment.
• Set up equipment and tooling for production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Complete production reports, quality documentation, and computerized records.
• Inspect products and monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to address product quality concerns.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within assigned work areas.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Production Associate Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by production needs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
