Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Skilled Laborer to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be integral to the assembly, maintenance, and operation of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help ensure that production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Duties Operate forklifts and power tools safely to transport materials and assemble components across the production floor Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards are met Assist in mechanical assembly tasks, including managing heavy lifting and manual handling of parts and equipment Follow manufacturing procedures, production documents, and safety protocols diligently to maintain compliance and efficiency Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for workflow enhancements and waste reduction Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members and management to meet production targets while ensuring safety standards are upheld Skills Proven experience operating forklifts within a manufacturing or factory environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with excellent manual handling skills Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and risk mitigation strategies Effective communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and interpreting technical documentation confidently
Pay:
$26.22 - $31.58 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
