This individual will be responsible for performing numerous production duties safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to stand for your entire shift, comfortable working in cold temperatures, strong eye for detail, and being a dependable team member who can work every day you are scheduled. Buffalo Grove, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Assembly:

Follow specific recipes to add the correct amount of ingredients to each food item.

Freezing:

Move prepared food into high-powered freezers to ensure it is frozen solid before shipping.

Kit Building:

Gather different food components (like meats, breads, and sauces) to create complete meal kits for customers.

Machine Operation:

Use sealing machines to wrap food in airtight plastic to keep it fresh.

Cold Chain Prep:

Place frozen items into insulated containers with dry ice or cold packs so they do not melt during travel.

Labeling:

Print and apply shipping labels and nutrition facts to the finished boxes.

Inspection:

Watch the production line for errors, such as damaged packaging or incorrect ingredients.

Cleanliness:

Follow strict hygiene rules, including wearing hairnets and gloves to keep the food safe.

Organization:

Maintain a clean workspace to prevent accidents and keep the line moving smoothly.

Requirements and Qualifications Physical Ability:

You must be able to stand for your entire shift

Environment:

You should be comfortable working in cold temperatures

Accuracy:

You must have a strong eye for detail

Reliability:
