Kitchen & Confections Production Associate - Kilwins Burr Ridge

Kilwins Burr Ridge is hiring friendly and energetic team members to join our new location in the Burr Ridge Village Center! Kilwins Burr Ridge is looking for part-time kitchen / production team members who are interested in learning how to make our signature confections including fudge, caramel products, waffle cones, and other treats made fresh in-store. This role focuses on food preparation and kitchen production , while also helping support the store during busy periods. We offer flexible scheduling and are happy to work around school schedules and other commitments. This is not a seasonal position , and we are looking for team members who are interested in staying with us long term. No prior kitchen experience is required. Training will be provided. Basic Employee Functions Must be available to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts Follow recipes and preparation procedures for fudge, caramel products, waffle cones, and other confections Assist with preparing products using kitchen equipment such as a copper kettle for cooking fudge and caramel Dip and decorate chocolates and caramel apples Assist with making products such as fudge, caramel corn, and other Kilwins confections Assist with packaging products made in-store Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace Follow all food safety and sanitation practices Assist with restocking ingredients and supplies Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Communicate clearly with team members and management Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to perform repetitive food preparation tasks Must be able to reach items from low shelves and overhead storage
