Job Description Pay:
$20-22/hr We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team in the MTA Liquids department as a Filler Operator. This role offers diverse shift opportunities: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm; 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2 pm-10:30 pm; and 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm-6:30 am. Responsibilities Work in a loud, fast-paced, and sometimes dirty production environment. Load, unload, count, label, ship, and pack products ranging from 5 lbs to 50 lbs. Fill finished products and raw materials into customer-requested containers, including gallon jugs, small drums, and small containers. Utilize batch sheets to fill orders for various customers. Employ basic measurement and mathematical skills. Operate the DOSS computer system for data entry and track production and equipment status updates. Report to shift supervisors and collaborate with production workers to meet goals. Perform additional duties in the production area as required. Package products efficiently. Essential Skills Batch Mixing experience. Machine operating experience within a GMP environment. Packing experience in a GMP environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Stand-up reach truck experience (6+ months of experience). Good work tenure (more than 1+ year at a position). Ability to work with a computer. Work Environment Our company manufactures and distributes various liquid and powdered chemicals for the food industry, with products featured in well-known brands like Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks. The production floor has a strong odor, and our warehouse team comprises 10-15 employees per shift. Candidates must wear hair nets, gloves, and beard nets if necessary. The warehouse department is smaller, with three people, and candidates will learn warehouse procedures, be trained on various equipment, and have opportunities for advancement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
