Full Job Description Production Specialist Location:
Downers Grove, IL Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 1:00pm
- 9:30pm
Pay:
$19.00- $23.
Approximate time allocation:
Manual Fulfillment- 40% Mail Inserting
- 40% Print Production
- 20% What You'll Do Coordinate and prepare projects for printing and mailing Operate high-speed laser inkjet printing equipment Perform quality control inspections to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to client specifications Inspect files and printed materials for defects, formatting issues, fonts, image resolution concerns, and other quality problems Follow established quality control and machine operating procedures Properly stage, acclimate, load, and change paper rolls as needed Reprint damaged or defective documents when necessary Perform routine operator-level maintenance and cleaning on production equipment Communicate with Client Services, Sales, IT, and Operations teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards Maintain professional relationships with vendors and service providers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Cross-train and provide support in Manual Fulfillment, Print Production, and Mail Inserting departments Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced production environment Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications Ability to work independently while contributing as a team member Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 45 pounds Ability to push and move heavy materials using pallet jacks, carts, or dollies Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-Verify Preferred Experience Manufacturing, production, warehouse, print, mail, or operations experience Print, copy, digital print, or mail production experience Experience with operating high-speed printing equipment Experience with continuous roll-feed printing equipment Familiarity with digital front end (DFE) software such as Fiery, PRISMA, or TotalFlow systems Adobe Acrobat experience Knowledge of USPS mailing regulations What We Offer Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO), sick time, and paid holidays Quarterly bonus opportunities Employee Assistance Program Casual work environment Training, cross-training, and opportunities for growth If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in producing quality work, and want opportunities to learn and grow, we'd like to hear from you.
