Our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finish Parts Grinder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision grinding and finishing of metal components to meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machine operation, blueprint reading, and measurement tools will ensure that parts are finished accurately and efficiently, supporting our commitment to high-quality production. Monday-Friday 6:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Responsibilities Removal of slag and scale by the operation of belt grinding, tumblers, angle grinders, die grinders, and shot blaster. Understanding different customer requirements. Packaging for safe shipment to customer. Reading work orders and following order directions. Reporting labor on computer in AS400 system. Operating of fork truck, jib crane, and magnets to move material through process. Must work in a safe manner and complete element K safety training yearly. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC grinders, surface grinders, or similar finishing equipment in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges. Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
