Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Production Associate to become a key part of our rapidly expanding halal food manufacturing team. In this role, you will be involved in the daily production of high-quality halal food products, ensuring all processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Duties Operate food processing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to produce consistent, high-quality products. Assist in food preparation tasks including cutting, portioning, mixing, and cooking using various culinary techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and production areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance. Handle materials and products manually or with material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safe lifting practices. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with production equipment and perform basic mechanical repairs or escalate as needed. Support inventory management by accurately handling raw materials and finished goods, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles. Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety standards during all operations to prevent accidents or contamination. Requirements Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a kitchen environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety management systems such as HACCP, GMP, and safety standards in production environments. Familiarity with machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate material handling equipment like forklifts when necessary. Strong understanding of food handling, processing, preparation techniques including baking and knife skills. Mechanical knowledge related to kitchen or manufacturing equipment is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, safety protocol adherence, and regulatory compliance. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting.
