Job Description

With Staff Management | SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented •Technician•to ensure parts meet all quality and production standards in our powder metal manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting operators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. +

Duties:
+ Approve set-ups for new jobs and job changes. + Inspect and document part quality (density, length, weight, run-out depth, and visual defects). + Perform scheduled checks, weighing, sorting, and magnaflux/process inspections. + Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and support resolution. + Audit operators throughout the plant for process adherence. + Maintain accurate records for material certifications. + Order supplies and perform basic preventative maintenance. + Safely use testing equipment, chemicals, and material-handling tools. + Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. + Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. + Support and uphold the BN Quality Policy. + Perform other duties as assigned. .
Position Requirements:
+ Working knowledge of •SPC•+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards. + Good speaking, hearing, and vision abilities. + Excellent manual dexterity. + Reasonable accommodation will be considered. + Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and mineral spirits. + Overtime or weekend work may be required.
Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.

Able to Lift 40 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
