Palletizer Operator | Temp-to-Hire Greater St. Louis Area (Illinois Side of the River)
URGENT HIRING NEED
  • INTERVIEWING NOW We are seeking a Palletizer Operator for a long-term Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing facility in the Greater St.
Louis area. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting warehouse and production operations. This is a career-track opportunity with advancement potential and a pathway to permanent employment.
Pay & Advancement Starting Rate:
$22.00/hour
After Qualification/Card Certification:
$23.00/hour
Permanent Employment Rate:
Approximately $25.63/hour Eligible for permanent employment after approximately 600+ successful hours Additional advancement opportunities available for top performers What You'll Do Operate palletizing and packaging equipment Monitor automated palletizers and stretch wrappers Clear equipment jams and perform equipment resets as needed Replace and thread stretch-wrap rolls Perform pre-operational equipment inspections Conduct quality checks throughout the shift Monitor finished products prior to shipment Maintain accurate production and inventory records Utilize computerized inventory and material tracking systems Support housekeeping and sanitation activities Assist with production changeovers and continuous improvement efforts Relieve team members for breaks and lunches as needed Train and assist new employees when required Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures May be required to obtain forklift certification Additional Warehouse & Material Handling Duties Operate forklift equipment as needed Deliver raw materials to production areas Transport packaging materials throughout the facility Assist with waste handling and recycling efforts Operate baling equipment Perform general housekeeping and porter responsibilities Qualifications Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Computer skills required Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to complete documentation accurately Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to lift 20-25 pounds regularly Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and within a team environment Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance Schedule 1st Shift 6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM 2nd Shift 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM Additional $0.75/hour shift premium 3rd Shift 10:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM Additional $1.
