Job Description

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known logistics company located in Grayslake, IL We are now hiring Production Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00
PM Pay:
$19.80 Training on 1st Shift required 6:00am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
Operates equipment used to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods. Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing and keeps accurate and up-to-date records and/or data sheets on materials in process. Performs in-process tests to ensure production meets required specifications. Recognizes equipment malfunctions and/or product deficiencies and troubleshoots errors to achieve continuing optimum production levels. Hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content. Follows blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics. Maintains running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory. Matches workload, manning, and equipment capacity to existing inventory. Prepares and monitors master schedules by working with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities. Requisitions materials after determining delivery dates.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, written and oral. Ability to work with little supervision after training. Work in a team environment. Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Understanding of basic computer functions. Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hands. Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carry items. Occasionally lifts and/or moves over 50 lbs.
Pay:
$19.80 per hour
