Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process within a fast-paced food processing environment, ensuring that products meet strict quality and safety standards. Duties Operate food processing equipment in accordance with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other safety standards to ensure product quality and safety. Assist in packaging, labeling, and assembling food products while maintaining sanitation and hygiene protocols. Monitor production lines for adherence to quality standards in production, inspecting finished goods for defects or inconsistencies. Follow detailed procedures for sanitation and cleanliness to uphold food safety management practices within the plant. Record production data accurately using SAP or similar manufacturing management systems, including batch records and quality checks. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and participating in team meetings on manufacturing management strategies. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production, managing risks, and reporting hazards promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in food production or a food processing plant is highly preferred; familiarity with food & beverage production processes is advantageous. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production is essential. Strong understanding of quality assurance practices within the food industry, including quality standards in production and food safety management. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating weights, or adjusting quantities as needed. Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and collaborating with supervisors on manufacturing management initiatives. Demonstrated commitment to safety standards in production and managing packaging processes effectively.
