Job Description
Megachip is a growing automotive-parts manufacturer specializing in vehicle-specific splash guards (mud flaps). We are looking for a part-time or full-time Production & Fulfillment Associate to help manufacture, inspect, package and ship products. Work Environment Megachip operates from a small production area within a larger automotive warehouse. This is a highly independent role, and you will often be the primary person working in the production area for significant portions of the day. The owners are involved in the business and regularly in and out of the shop, but this is not a large production team or highly social warehouse environment. This position is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working independently, can stay productive without constant supervision, and communicates proactively when questions or problems come up. The building's restroom is located in another section of the facility, across the warehouse's vehicle access/parking area. What you'll do Assemble automotive splash-guard kits using adhesives, fasteners and basic hand tools Install brackets and hardware according to visual work instructions Inspect finished products and identify defects or assembly errors Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for shipment Keep components, finished goods and work-in-process organized Operate 3D printers and remove/inspect completed parts Perform routine printer cleaning and maintenance after training Communicate inventory shortages, quality problems and production issues as soon as they're noticed Help improve production processes as you become familiar with the operation We're looking for someone who Pays close attention to details, even during repetitive work Naturally asks questions when something is unclear Communicates problems instead of working around them Is comfortable using screwdrivers and other basic hand tools Can follow visual instructions consistently Keeps parts and work areas organized Works efficiently without sacrificing product quality Is dependable and comfortable working independently Is comfortable learning basic computer and equipment workflows Automotive, manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical or 3D-printing experience is helpful but not required . We'll train the right person. Schedule Full-time is Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5PM Part-time can be discussed but is ideally be 4-5 hour days or three full days per week Compensation $19-$22/hour depending on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. A performance and compensation review is conducted after approximately 90 days based on proficiency in production, quality control, fulfillment, organization and equipment operation.
