About the
Role:
The Production Operator at Kolb-Lena Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of our production line within the food industry. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the manufacturing of cheese products while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. By following detailed instructions and protocols, the Production Operator will help to meet production targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting the overall production process and delivering high-quality products to our clients.
Essential Functions:
Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product standards. Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures during production. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing environment. Lift and carry heavy materials as required to support production activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the food industry. Familiarity with GMP protocols.
Skills:
The required skills for this position, such as operating production equipment and performing quality checks, are essential for maintaining the efficiency of the production line. Daily tasks will involve following instructions meticulously to ensure that all processes are executed correctly and safely. The ability to work in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the food industry, will enhance the candidate's effectiveness in this role.
