If writing Mazatrol from scratch and dialing in a rock-solid production setup sounds like your craft, read on. What you'll do Program at the machine in Mazatrol or G-code straight from blueprints. Install fixtures, load tools, set tool registers and offsets, and configure machine control settings. Run first-piece samples and verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish against GD&T and prints. Watch the process closely—spot malfunctions early and adjust feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to keep parts in spec. Where you'll program Mazak controls: T-32, T+, Fusion, Matrix control / Smooth Control CAM software: Mastercam and Mazatrol What you bring High School diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of experience preferred in a production manufacturing environment. Hands-on with 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC lathes; live tooling and Y-axis knowledge is a big plus. Proficient in CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and production setups. Comfortable with PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming. Experience on Mazak CNC lathes; exposure to CNC Swiss (Star) welcomed. Strong grasp of GD&T and measurement practices.
