Custom Marble, a rapidly growing, Family-owned wholesale manufacturing company, is seeking career-minded, proficient manufacturing Production Worker who is driven, passionate, and highly motivated, to work in and around the St. Louis Metro East area. Our well-established (48 years) company is passionate about what we do and the services we provide to our customers. As a Production Worker, you would be responsible for primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include polishing, grinding and stacking manufactured and/or fabricated products. You will conduct quality checks, material set-up, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you would be responsible for conducting tests and inspections of systems, equipment, finished goods, as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas while paying close attention to all aspects of safety. Exceptional technical & problem-solving skills are important for journeymen to identify manufacturing quality issues and proceed with prompt repairs. Being able to work in a team setting and to complete objectives within a given timeframe is a must. Training is available for the right individual. Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Must have the ability to construct and fabricate and/or diagnose and repair manufacturing quality problems rapidly and accurately. Must stay up to date with changes in the equipment usage. Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift and handle physical demands Good communication skills and able to take instruction Must be at work on time and every scheduled day Be able to stand and work for 8 hours a day Availability for needed overtime sessions Must wear appropriate PPE at all times and follow safety procedures Must be 18 years or older Must pass HPE [Human Performance Evaluation] and drug/alcohol test Keep on or ahead of the manufacturing schedule & timely project completion Assuring that company equipment and materials are used properly Other functions as directed by management.

Experience Desired :

This position requires a minimum of two - (2) years' experience through on the job training or successful completion of an apprentice program. Required - "Production Worker" has a current, and valid State of residence Driver's License. Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written Must be able to perform all aspects of the assigned duties and tasks.
