Full Job Description Description:
Looking for a 3-day weekend every week? George Evans Corporation is looking for a dependable Press Brake/Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM , giving you Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. In this position, you will set up and operate press brake and punch press equipment used to manufacture steel components. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, works safely, and can produce quality parts according to drawings and specifications. What You'll Do Set up and operate press brake and punch press equipment Operate power presses to punch, trim, shape, notch, draw, or crimp steel components Read and interpret drawings, routings, work instructions, and specifications Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments Select and use appropriate fixtures, tooling, and setup parameters Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards Use gauges, templates, and precision measuring equipment Identify and correct quality issues during production Complete required production and quality documentation Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE Work with other team members to meet production and quality goals
Requirements:
What We're Looking For Previous press brake, punch press, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred Ability to read manufacturing drawings and routings Basic shop math skills Ability to use measuring devices and gauges Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setups Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality Physical Requirements This is an active manufacturing position. Employees must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and regularly bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and handle steel parts and equipment.

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds . Heavier materials are moved with appropriate hoists, forklifts, slings, or other mechanical or team assistance.
