Job Description
Overview The Advanced Production Specialist is responsible for assembling advanced products involving multiple components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. This position requires a commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork and your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Assemble complex products following detailed instructions and blueprint specifications Safely operating hand tools, small power tools and other assembly equipment Safely use overhead hoist for positioning and lifting larger assemblies Inspect final products to ensure quality standards are achieved Promptly report any product defects or issues to supervisors Collaborate well with team members to meet production deadlines Document accurate records of completed work Commit to follow all safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work environment Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge Occasionally work outdoors in undesirable weather conditions Assist in other warehouse tasks as assigned Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods of time Regularly bend and pack items into crates for storage and shipping Strong attention to detail and understanding complex assemblies Able to operate a forklift with employer provided training Operate various small tools used to grind, hammer and apply torque in assembly processes Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds from the floor Able to regularly apply up to 40-foot pounds of torque with hand tools Push, pull and position objects with surface friction up to 100 lbs Push or pull items with wheeled carts up to 500 lbs Ability to work on elevated surfaces such as ladders and platforms This position requires physical activity including standing and walking for extended periods of time with regular lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and other repetitive motions related to assembly work. Some tasks require working on elevated surfaces while following all safety protocols and occasionally working outdoors in various weather conditions.
