IAA Production Support & Infrastructure Specialist Location:
Chicago, IL onsite 3 days per week
Duration:

Months Role Overview:
The IAA Production Support & Infrastructure Specialist will help ensure the stability, security, and operational readiness of the IAA platform across cloud infrastructure, application support, access management, and production operations. This role will partner closely with development, infrastructure, InfoSec, accounting, and service desk teams ttroubleshoot issues, support AWS and server environments, manage operational workflows, and improve support processes for a business-critical investment accounting and reporting platform.

    Production Support & Operations:
    Demonstrated experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, support handoffs, ticket management, and stakeholder communications.
      AWS Cloud Infrastructure:
      Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPCs, Bastion hosts, Certificate Manager, and cloud-based monitoring, troubleshooting, and access patterns.
        Linux and Server Administration:
        Strong working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, including package management with Yum/DNF, patching, system maintenance, reboot coordination, and basic shell-based troubleshooting.
          Security, Access & Vulnerability Management:
          Familiarity with user provisioning, MFA, Okta, InfoSec coordination, vulnerability remediation workflows, certificate lifecycle management, and compliance-oriented documentation.
            Tooling and Workflow Management:
            Experience using ServiceNow, GitLab or Github, Azure DevOps, alerting distribution lists, and support queues tmanage incidents, requests, vulnerabilities, and operational tasks.
              Collaboration and Communication:
              Ability twork across technical and business teams, document repeatable processes, communicate operational risk clearly, and drive follow-through on support issues in a regulated or controls-focused environment.
              Preferred Qualifications:
              • Experience supporting investment accounting, financial reporting, asset management, or other regulated financial services platforms.
              • Working knowledge of Snowflake concepts, data pipelines, batch processing, or downstream reporting integrations.
              • Prior experience supporting globally distributed applications or multi-region cloud environments.
              • Familiarity with automation or scripting using shell scripts, Python, GitLab CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code concepts.
              • Experience working with certificate automation, secrets management, Venafi, or enterprise certificate renewal processes.
              • Practical exposure tSAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA, Postgre
              SQL, ETL
              workflows, file-based integrations, S3-backed storage patterns, and production data/reporting support.
              • Exposure tITIL-based support processes, change management, incident management, problem management, or operational risk controls.
              • Ability ttranslate recurring support issues intprocess improvements, runbooks, monitoring enhancements, or automation opportunities.
              Platform Operations & Infrastructure Support Administer and support AWS environments across Dev, UAT, and Production, including EC2, VPCs, Bastion hosts, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, GitLab runners, and AWS Certificate Manager. Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows server components, including patching, package management, server reboots, vulnerability remediation, and environment readiness activities. Support infrastructure planning for global expansion, including Snowflake integration, multi-region AWS deployments, and operational readiness for new platform capabilities. Application Support, Monitoring & Incident Management Provide production support for the IAA web reporting interface and related backend components, including SAP S/4HANA, PostgreSQL, S3 storage, ETL pipelines, StepStream, and Bloomberg integrations. Monitor application and infrastructure health using AWS CloudWatch, system email alerts, ServiceNow notifications, GitLab Service Desk, and Azure DevOps boards. Triage incidents, coordinate resolution across development, infrastructure, accounting, and service desk teams, and support the transition of support processes intServiceNow. Access Management, Security & Compliance Manage onboarding and access provisioning for internal and external users, including user detail collection, client ID assignment, Okta enrollment, MFA setup, and coordination with InfoSec and Service Desk teams. Respond tvulnerability alerts, assess impacted components, apply patches or remediation steps, and document actions in accordance with support and compliance processes. Support certificate lifecycle management, including renewals, imports, and automation opportunities using AWS Certificate Manager and Venafi. Process Improvement, Documentation & Collaboration Create and maintain operat
