Position Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Associates to support the manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) . This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment where you will assist with machine operation, assembly, inspection, testing, and production support activities. What You'll Do SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Load PCB boards into SMT production equipment. Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation. Load, replace, and unload electronic component reels. Assist with machine setup and changeovers. Troubleshoot minor production issues. Maintain quality and production standards. PTH (Plated Through-Hole) Operations Transfer boards through various production stages. Load and feed components into automated insertion equipment. Monitor machine performance and production flow. Support wave soldering operations. Ensure components are securely assembled and meet quality requirements. Final Assembly & Testing Assemble completed circuit boards into electronic enclosures and server housings. Follow detailed work instructions and build sheets. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Perform functional testing and quality inspections. Accurately document production and testing results. Ensure products meet customer quality expectations. Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of stable work history. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to pass a basic math assessment. Strong English communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Available Shifts ? 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ? 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM ? 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM Weekend overtime available based on business needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
