Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will play a vital role in optimizing our cup production lines to ensure maximum efficiency and output quality. You will leverage your technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting and process management to maintain high-performance standards across our manufacturing zone. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production flow. Execute precise machine adjustments to ensure all output meets rigorous quality specifications. Perform proactive maintenance and component replacements to prevent equipment failure and improve operational safety. Conduct routine changeovers and manage machine start-up and shutdown sequences efficiently. Document production data, downtime metrics, and quality inspection results using digital tracking systems. Collaborate with cross-shift teams to communicate technical challenges and ensure seamless production handoffs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all industrial safety protocols. Operate material handling equipment, including obtaining and maintaining scissor lift certification. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing or machine operation environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and solve problems independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration. Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Preferred Skills Prior experience in paper converting or high-speed packaging industries. Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and digital production reporting tools. Experience performing preventative maintenance on automated machinery. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-decibel industrial setting.
