Job Summary We are currently seeking SMT Set-Up Technicians to join a growing electronics manufacturing team in South Elgin. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills in SMT and electronics manufacturing . Paid training is provided , making this position a good fit for candidates with manufacturing experience as well as individuals looking to learn a new skill. Responsibilities Set up SMT production equipment for scheduled jobs. Load feeders and verify component placement locations. Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments. Verify materials and production documentation before starting jobs. Support production operators and help maintain an efficient workflow. Follow quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Manufacturing or electronics assembly experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to follow work instructions and production documentation. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and be trained on SMT equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
