Job Description

Join Riverfront Stamping where skilled professionals help power the industryforward. As a global leader in stamped metal products for the filtration industry, we rely on talented, service-oriented individuals to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to support electrical systems critical to our production environment. This role plays a key part in equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across our facility. Press Set-Up Technician Responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and accurate setup of stamping presses to ensure consistent production of high-quality parts. This position performs equipment setup, material handling, and basic troubleshooting while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, First Shift (must be willing to work additional hours as needed) Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up stamping presses, including coil loading, securing equipment, and ensuring parts meet Quality Control standards
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Assist with loading steel coils
  • Remove scrap and apply lubricants as needed
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts
  • Move bins, racks, and containers to and from presses
  • Follow all company and safety policies
  • Stop production immediately if parts do not meet quality requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve company goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required) 1-2 years of manufacturing or press operation experience (preferred) Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools Experience with stamping presses, coil handling, or metal forming equipment (preferred) Familiarity with forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment (preferred) Ability to read and interpret work instructions, job travelers, and basic blueprints (preferred) Understanding of quality standards, inspection processes, and measurement tools (preferred) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address setup or production issues Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Strong communication, professionalism, and attention to detail Willingness to work overtime when operational needs require Ability to bend, stand or sit for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs he pay range listed for this position reflects the base wage and is provided in compliance with Illinois law.
Placement within the range is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Incentive and bonus eligibility, if applicable, are separate and based on performance and company criteria.
Pay:
$19.00 - $29.00 per hour
