Production Associate Position, Start immediately, $27/hr - $35/hr, weekly pay

Description:

Train and work in four primary areas: Assembly, Lapping, Conveyance, and Shipping/Receiving. Perform mechanical assembly on various products, including pumps and valves such as cartridge, in-line, and check valves. Work in multiple assembly areas, ranging from basic assembly to electrical assembly and more sophisticated assembly operations. Follow drawings and diagrams (non-blueprint format) to correctly assemble parts and components. Handle and assemble small parts and metal pieces with precision and attention to detail. Operate lapping machines to smooth product surfaces to specified tolerances and quality standards. Perform order picking in the Conveyance department by pushing carts and selecting parts for delivery to assembly areas. Support warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving tasks, as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and related operations. Conduct quality checks on products, including first piece, in-process, and final assembly inspections and testing. Lift and move materials and components weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.

Pay & Shift:

1st shift Monday to Friday 7AM to 3.30PM Pay is $21/hour. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
