As a Sewing Production Associate , youll be part of a small, passionate team that handcrafts premium aprons and accessories right here in West Chicago, IL.\ \ This is a hands-on, creative role in a fast-moving environment where quality and productivity go hand-in-hand. Youll take on a mix of sewing, cutting, and product-assembly tasks while helping guide daily production to ensure our high standards and production goals are consistently met.\ \ Because were a small team, every day brings variety and opportunity. Youll be creative, learn new skills, and make real contributions to both our products and our processes. What Youll Do (Essential Job Duties) Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality aprons and custom products. Cut, assemble, and finish materials promptly and with accuracy. Clean, fold and package finished aprons to ensure presentation and quality meet CHEFtog standards. Meet established daily and weekly production targets while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship. Help train, mentor, and support other team members as needed. Participate in product improvement and creative design discussions. Maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment. Contribute ideas to make our production process more efficient, enjoyable, and productive. What Makes You a Great Fit (Required Experience & Education) High School Diploma or GED Read and correctly interpret work orders in English Ability to use measuring devices with 1/16 accuracy Exceptional eye for detail 1+ years experience using an industrial sewing machine Physical Requirements Able to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, pinch, stoop, reach overhead and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Able to reach at or below shoulder level over a cutting table up to 60 inches Why Youll Love Working Here At CHEFtog , we believe great work comes from a mix of creativity, craftsmanship, and camaraderie.
