Job Description
Job Responsibilities Operates complex machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Oversees setups on basic machinery and production lines. Sets up machines and adjusts settings for various production tasks. Monitors production processes and performs quality checks. Conducts minor repairs and preventive maintenance. Trains and mentors entry-level machine operators. Documents production metrics and reports discrepancies. Ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Proficient in operating various types of machinery. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics. Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Computer skills including ERP systems. Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience required. Experience Requirements Five years of previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Certifications Machine Operation or related field a plus Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material. Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours). May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Starting rate for this role is $23 per hour
