Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and finishing high-quality products. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on tasks, possesses strong attnetion to detail, and maintains a clean. safe workspace. Responsibilities Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment including power tools and measuring instruments. Support assembly line activities by handling components, performing manual handling tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure products meet safety standards and quality benchmarks. Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements, streamline operations, and reduce waste through lean manufacturing principles. Manage inventory of hand tools, power tools, and materials while maintaining a clean, organized workspace aligned with safety standards. Skills Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment with familiarity in assembly processes. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment safely. Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including manual handling and heavy lifting techniques. Experience managing production or assembly teams is a plus; ability to work effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing to enhance efficiency. Warehouse experience is advantageous for inventory management and material handling tasks. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
