2nd shift Brake Press Operator Ready to put your brake press experience to work with an established metal fabrication company? We're looking for a dependable, skilled operator who takes pride in producing quality parts and is ready to learn and grow with the team. $21-24/hour. What's in it for you? Brake Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position $22.00 /hour Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 02:00am) Set up and operated CNC and manual brake press machines to bend and form metal parts. Read and interpreted blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings. Selected and installed the correct dies, punches, and tooling for each production job. Entered machine settings and adjusted bend angles, pressure, and back-gauge positions. Measured finished parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Inspected completed components for proper dimensions, angles, and overall quality. Loaded sheet metal and fabricated materials into the brake press and safely removed finished parts. Performed test bends and made machine adjustments to ensure parts met specifications. Identified defective materials and reported equipment or quality concerns to supervisors. Completed basic troubleshooting and routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Labeled, stacked, and prepared completed parts for the next stage of production. 2nd shift
Brake Press Operator Qualifications:
Previous brake press operating experience is required. Experience working for a metal fabrication company is strongly preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Good work history with dependable attendance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and job duties. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and handle metal parts throughout the shift. Must follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
