Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Perform
MIG, TIG
& stick welding on various materials, including following ASME codes and standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, torches and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Conduct pipe threading, rigging, and assembly of components as required. Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements. Requirements Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a construction or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and other welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge Knowledge of rigging practices and safety measures on construction sites. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Candidates who possess these skills will be well-suited for this position as we strive for excellence in our projects while fostering a collaborative work environment.

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
