Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will oversee the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products. Your responsibilities will encompass material handling, machine operation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. You will operate automated machinery, ensuring the production line runs smoothly and meets quality specifications. Additionally, you will document in-process updates and utilize equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes for material movement. Responsibilities Handle raw materials to prepare for production. Feed raw wire into the production line according to specifications. Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues. Pull enamel samples and read HMI touchscreen for quality assurance. Document all required in-process updates manually. Use overhead cranes to move finished spools of wire. Store finished products using forklifts. Essential Skills Ability to work safely and independently. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts. Open to forklift training. Strong tenure at previous employers. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Strong soft skills. Eagerness to learn and be trained. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean and traditional manufacturing facility that can be loud and hot in certain areas. The facility is expanding, with plans to build additional warehouse space and install new production lines. The workplace operates on a 2/2/3 schedule with both day and night shifts available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
