$24-$34/hour DOE + Overtime Opportunities Relocation & Bonus Package Up to $3,000 relocation reimbursement $1,950 housing assistance $1,000 Day 1 sign-on bonus $1,500 after 90 days $1,500 after 180 days We are actively hiring at least four experienced Armature Winders / Electric Motor Winders . Candidates in Gary, Indiana and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring relocation to Corpus Christi, TX . Responsibilities Wind and rewind AC/DC industrial electric motors and generators Rewind armatures, stators, wound rotors and field coils Remove old copper windings and accurately record winding data Perform form coil and random winding Form, insert, connect, lace and insulate copper coils Perform brazing and soldering Disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble motors Perform Megger, Hi-Pot, surge and insulation testing Work with VPI, insulation systems and burnout/bake processes Read winding diagrams, schematics and repair specifications Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial motor winding/rewinding experience Experience with armatures, stators, AC/DC motors, rotors, generators or field coils Motor repair, electromechanical or heavy-industrial winding experience Must be willing to relocate to Corpus Christi, TX General manufacturing, steel coil, yarn winding or transformer-only winding does not qualify.
