Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assembler/Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring products meet quality standards through precise measurement and mechanical assembly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial tools in accordance with blueprints and schematics. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances. Operate pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively. Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with machining, fabrication, or welding tasks as needed to support production goals. Handle manual tasks involving lifting, positioning, or moving parts using proper ergonomic techniques. Interpret schematics and blueprints for mechanical blueprint interpretation and fabrication processes. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments with familiarity in assembly processes. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to mechanical assembly. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices. Mechanical knowledge including understanding of shop math, fabrication techniques, machining, and soldering. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for fine assembly work. Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use and manual handling techniques. Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows and interpretation of production documents. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
