Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates a gel gun to apply gel coat to mold Use mil gauge to check thickness of gel Monitor the stroke counter to ensure the proper thickness of resin is applied to the mold. Clean the gel gun and booth as needed Work production line with consistent speed and accuracy Ensure the production requirements and standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Work cooperatively with production team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Able to work overtime, including weekends Assist in moving molds and pulling molds Maintain equipment in proper working order
Specifications:
Education and Experience Ÿ None required Technical Knowledge Ÿ Ability to operate a chop gun and other air powered tools as needed. Physical Requirements Ÿ Must be able to remain stationary 100% of the time. Ÿ Frequently lifts fiberglass materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and must be able to transport these fiberglass materials up to 20 feet. Ÿ Frequently positions self to maneuver around the mold while gelling the part Ÿ Must be able to operate the gel gun frequently and consistently during the shift
Working Conditions:
This position is exposed to changing indoor temperatures, fumes, dust and loud noises.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
