Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Sawmill Production Team Members to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our sawmill and handling wood materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, machine operation, and manufacturing processes while contributing to the production of premium lumber products. Responsibilities Operate sawmill machinery and woodworking machines safely and efficiently, including saws, planers, and CNC equipment Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately cut and process wood materials Use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other measuring devices to ensure precise cuts and measurements Handle wood materials using material handling equipment such as forklifts while maintaining safety protocols Assist in quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications Qualifications Prior experience in sawmill production or woodworking manufacturing preferred Knowledge of wood materials, millwork, and woodworking machines Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production processes Experience with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and machining techniques Construction or carpentry background is advantageous but not required Join our team at Hollingsworth Lumber where your skills will help craft quality lumber products in a safe, supportive environment. $15.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
