Job Description
We are seeking production workers at U.S. Stone Industries.
Day shift position with overtime:
Monday through Friday, 6am to 430pm, Saturday 6am to 2pm.Night shift position with overtime:
Monday through Friday 4pm to 230am, Saturdays 2pm to 7pm. Differential pay of $1/hour to those on night shift. Overtime is available, with blended averages ranging from $18 to $21 per hour as a result. Bilingual preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a drug test.Title:

Herington Plant- Reports to: Floor Supervisor Description Summary Split and Thin Veneer employees will focus on the production of our veneer product line.
- Understand how the finished product should appear and utilize the resources to produce needed quantities.
- Must carefully palletize completed product for safe transport.
- Must exhibit attention to detail and awareness of quality control parameters for all produced products.
- Must be able to understand and operate all machinery, including Splitters, Thin Veneer flats/corners Tumbler.
- Must understand and initiate all machine care and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Must adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures.
- Must work to be an excellent teammate exhibiting a willingness to help/train co-workers as needed.
- Must work with pace and efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Carries out any additional duties as assigned by the plant management team. Minimum requirements
- Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to utilize (or learn to utilize) computer based and mechanical equipment in the workplace.
- Must work well within a team environment. Must be reliable and self-motivated.
- Must be able to communicate effectively. The ability to speak both English and Spanish can help an employee advance in their profession.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be on time and ready to work each workday unless prior management arrangements have been made. Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Employees who have specialized skills may advance to new opportunities more quickly.
- A history including general shop, welding, mechanical drawing, blueprint reading, physics/mathematics, via your education or on-the-job training will prove helpful, but is not required.
