Job Description
Who We AreAt 80 Acres Farms, we're on a mission to change the way the world eatsand we're looking for people who want to help us do it.
We grow pesticide-free salads, herbs, microgreens, and salad kits in smart vertical farms that produce more food with far fewer resourcesusing up to 95% less water and renewable electricity, with no reliance on weather or seasons. Our produce is available in more than 17,000 retail locations nationwide, including Kroger, Whole Foods, HEB, and The Fresh Market, and reaches foodservice partners across the country year-round.
What makes this possible is a combination of people, technology, and purpose. Our proprietary growing platform, developed by our technology subsidiary, Infinite Acres, provides our teams with real-time data and control over every aspect of the growing environmentmaking our farms among the most advanced in the world. We operate commercial farms in Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, and Colorado, packhouses in Indiana, Virginia, and Washington, and research and development facilities in Arkansas, Israel, and the Netherlands.
We've grown significantly through the acquisitions of Kalera and Soli Organic, and we're just getting started.

The Impact Youll MakeWe are looking for a Line Lead who takes pride in their work and is interested in being a part of a company that is changing the way the world eats. You will support the mission by assisting the team to succeed by driving standards in Safety, Quality, Accuracy and Production.
Our Line Leads help their team succeed by having open and transparent communication and being a resource for team members to learn and grow.

Schedule:
Wednesday-SaturdayWhat Youll Be Responsible ForTeam Leadership Assist with interview process and tours In collaboration with Farm Supervisor, manage Team Member monthly training Ensuring the team is operating packaging machinery in a safe and efficient mannerDepartment Metrics Manage yield expectations and daily task progress to meet target Setup and Start Up checks Perform quality checks on all equipment Complete Pre-Op checklistDaily Checks and Measurements General Operations:
Ensuring team PPE is worn correctly and verifying status of Work Orders with maintenance Department checks: Verify checklist and tasks are completed on time and correctly End-of-Day tasks: Cleaning and PPE supplies restocked, aged prop trays disposal, tools returned to storage areas and documentation EnvironmentRepetitive motion throughout the shiftStanding or walking for a long duration of timeExposure to heights when working on the grow areaLifting up to 50lbsWhat You Bring1+ year packing experience in a food production environmentKnowledge of GMPsAbility to identify and report updates and possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety Organizational skills and consistency, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize Detail and quality oriented Ability to delegate tasks to team members Working at 80 Acres FarmsAt 80 Acres Farms, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
