Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Manufacturing

Job Title:

Strategic Sourcing Specialist Duties:

Evaluate current and future needs for hardware, raw materials, and outside services. Work with current vendors to consolidate purchases and lower annual spend. Seek out new potential vendors to diversify the supply chain. Work with the Engineering & Estimating Department to source new components during the quoting phase and follow through into production. Ensure availability, pricing, and lead times are communicated to all relevant parties. Work with production to expedite shipments when needed. Assist in Supplier Development, product categorizing, and monitoring metrics. Other duties as required.

Experience:

5+ years' experience in sourcing and/or purchasing for manufacturing. Strong computer skills. Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Understanding of ERP systems, Bill of Materials, Work Orders, and MRP. Experience sourcing sheet metal and assembly hardware a plus.

$800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
