This is a FT hourly position. A per hour bonus for satisfactory attendance/performance may be available. The shift is 3:00 pm-1:00 am. The duties include but are not limited to: Perform production duties in the area assigned by Supervisor and assist wherever need to support efficient operations of the plant Safely operate machinery, equipment, forklifts, conveyors, cutting/shearing equipment, and other equipment for the employee is trained and authorized Prepare, handle, process, inspect, weigh, move and properly position products according to customer specifications and established procedures Perform assigned production duties, which may include Rod Cutting, Catcher, Alloy Handling, Casting, Reverb, Metal Making, or other production assignments Properly prepare and set up equipment, tools, and materials before production activities Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and established safety requirements Perform quality inspections, measurements, scale checks, calibrations, and production documentation Assist with material preparation, batching, movement, storage and removal of materials as required Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned production area, equipment, conveyors, furnace areas, pits and other work areas Safely handle and dispose of production waste and other materials as required Communicate effectively with Supervisors and coworkers regarding safety, quality, production, equipment, and operational concerns Follow safety protocol as all times This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively on a daily basis Must be able to stand the entire time working (8-10 hrs per day) Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively Ability to follow job instructions (whether written or oral) in a fast-paces environment Willingness to cross-train and become qualified in other production positions as requested Excellent attention to detail for quality inspection Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Forklift experience or willingness to train is a plus Must have own transportation
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
