Job Description

Distillery Operator - Second Shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM, Mon-Fri) We are seeking a reliable, results-driven Distillery Operator to support daily distillery operations. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining distillery systems while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Operate grain handling/milling, mash cooking, fermentation, distillation, and barrel filling systems Perform normal and emergency equipment startups and shutdowns Monitor and adjust automated systems using computers and gauges Conduct quality control testing (grain, mash, yeast) and document results Write, follow, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Troubleshoot, inspect, clean, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and digital equipment Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas Support safety programs and comply with OSHA, EPA, and all regulatory requirements Assist with productivity, safety, and quality tracking and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Working knowledge of distillation processes and distillery operations preferred but not required Ability to perform math calculations (including proofing) Maintenance/mechanical experience preferred Strong work ethic, time management, organization, and communication skills Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to take initiative Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform regular physical labor Frequent walking, stair climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching Ability to work in confined spaces, hazardous environments, and varying temperatures Must wear required PPE and maintain regular attendance Join our team and play a key role in producing high-quality spirits while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

From $17.50 per hour
