Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description As a Production Associate, you fill drums and pails with product and safely move them throughout the facility to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Fill drums and pails with product accurately and efficiently according to production requirements. Move filled and empty drums and pails throughout the building in a safe and organized manner. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to transport products and materials as needed. Follow established production procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times. Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area within the manufacturing facility. Assist with general labor tasks on the production floor, including loading, unloading, and staging materials. Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems promptly to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support continuous workflow. Essential Skills Previous experience in production or warehouse environments. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Experience operating a forklift or similar material handling equipment. Capability to safely lift, move, and handle drums and pails throughout the facility. Strong attention to safety procedures and adherence to company guidelines. Reliability and consistency in meeting attendance and performance expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production workflows. Comfort working with manual tools and equipment on the production floor. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support coworkers as needed. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility that operates on a production floor with active machinery and material handling equipment. You work in an industrial setting where safety procedures are a priority, and tasks involve standing, moving, and handling drums and pails throughout your shift. The environment is hands-on and collaborative, with team members working together to keep operations running smoothly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
