Job Description
Press Operator
- 2nd Shift Position Summary The Press Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating metal-forming and stamping presses to produce quality parts according to customer specifications, production schedules, and company standards.
Schedule:
Second Shift — typically afternoon/evening hours, with exact schedule determined by the facility. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, press operation, metal stamping, or machine-operation experience preferred. Ability to read and understand work instructions, blueprints, and basic production documents. Basic measurement skills and familiarity with precision measuring tools preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to safely lift and handle materials within the facility's established limits. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required. Work Environment This position is performed in a metal manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, metal materials, lubricants, and varying temperatures. Proper PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, and other required protective equipment, must be worn.Company Information :
