This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining roll-forming equipment used to manufacture metal building components. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality material, pays close attention to measurements and specifications, and takes ownership of keeping their equipment and work area operating safely and efficiently. This is more than simply pushing a button. The successful candidate must understand the equipment, recognize when something isn't running correctly, make appropriate adjustments, and consistently produce material that meets our top-quality standards. Position Overview The Roll Form Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-forming equipment and related production machinery.
The position includes:

Recognize unusual noises, vibration, alignment problems, or changes in product quality. Stop production when equipment or finished material is not operating within acceptable standards. Make appropriate adjustments within the employee's training and authorization. Communicate mechanical problems that require additional maintenance support. Verify material before beginning production. Measure finished products using appropriate measuring equipment. Check length, width, profile, shape, and other required specifications.
