Experience Requirements Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Shop Hand. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. "Great shifts and decent pay." - Staffmark Production Associate What You Will Do As a Shop Hand you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations. Will be working on the wash rack pressure washing tools, scrape and paint (refurbish tools). The Shop Hand will be responsible for performing various tasks, including but not limited to maintaining shop cleanliness, operating instruments and machinery, preparing equipment for shipment, and assisting the team with various tasks as needed. This position requires an excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6 months of industrial shop experience is preferred. A Shop Hand supports manufacturing success by performing production activities that help maintain quality, efficiency, and safe workplace practices.
